Your First Visit

During your first visit, we will have an in-depth conversation about your reasons for the visit and your goals. I will conduct a comprehensive intake assessment, lay out the treatment plan, and determine the appropriate modalities to use.

Before the acupuncture session begins, soogi acupressure is used to identify and release any trigger points that might impede the treatment. Once the needles are inserted and you are settled and comfortable, you will relax under a heating lamp for 20-30 minutes. It’s common for patients fall asleep during this relaxation phase. 

Please wear comfortable and loose clothing. You may bring a change of clothes which allows easy access to your arms and legs. 

Each session will take about an hour.

  • We are not in network with any insurances.
  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. If an appointment is not canceled within this timeframe, a late fee equivalent to the service fee may apply. Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Exceptions may apply for medical emergencies. 
  • In the interest of respecting everyone’s time, please note that the treatment time will end at the scheduled ending time even if you come in late.
